This Privacy Policy describes how Axon Learning ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Healthcare Ready: Exam Prep mobile application ("the App"), formerly named NurseReady. The App provides exam preparation for nursing, nursing assistant, advanced practice, physician assistant, and pharmacy certifications.
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address through Firebase Authentication. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive an Apple relay address instead. We use this to create and manage your account.
Study data. We store your selected exam track, study progress, quiz and test results, level progression, flashcard activity, case study results, bookmarks, readiness score, and exam date in Google Firestore. This data is tied to your account so your progress is preserved across sessions and devices.
Engagement and social features. We store your study streak, experience points, weekly league membership, friends list, and challenge scores. Other users only ever see your initials and an avatar color — never your name, email address, or account ID.
Referral program. Each account has a referral code. We store which code you used (if any), who used your code, and any rewards earned.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can send study reminders. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Feedback. If you send feedback from within the App, we store your message with your account so we can respond.
Subscription data. If you purchase a subscription, RevenueCat processes the transaction and provides us with your subscription status (active, expired, free trial) and plan. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
AI feature data. When you use the AI Tutor, AI-generated flashcards, AI Tests, or AI case studies, the text you enter and relevant study content are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate a response. Your name and email address are not included in these requests. Prompts and responses are stored in your account history so you can review past sessions.
We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information.
The App uses the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete Account). This permanently deletes your account, study data, engagement data, referral data, and feedback. Scores you posted in a friend's challenge may remain visible, by initials only, until that challenge expires (up to 7 days). Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. You can also email us to request deletion, and we will complete it within 30 days.
The App is intended for students and professionals preparing for healthcare certification exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules that limit each account to its own data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
